Paul is a professional builder and an avid Formula 1 follower. He went every year to the British Grand Prix and whilst he stayed on the campsite at Silverstone, he noticed more glamping structures were popping up as it was becoming popular.

Pauline was a coach driver and from her driving days around the UK and Europe collected various unique items from everywhere she visited which gave her the idea to design themed tents.

Together they had the idea for their own glamping site but they needed to decide where. After many holidays spent with family on the Island of Hvar and being fed up with the UK, (especially the weather) they were very lucky when family offered them a piece of land right by the sea. The land was originally a vineyard but had not been used for over 80 years and Paul and Pauline thought it was the perfect place for their glamping dreams to be realized.

 

Paul then went to work clearing the land and making all the very involved plans. aiming for a glamping experience that was both luxurious and eco-friendly. They've since achieved their goals allowing each safari tent to be self contained with all the amenities and necessities needed for a comfortable yet luxurious stay.

 

Together their skills have created their dream so Vines and Stars was born with luxurious themed safari lodges by the sea.
